Peninsula Hot Springs
Swimming Hole Heaven in Melbourne

On cold Melbourne days and evenings, when you are chilled to the bone, these hot springs can get your blood circulating again. The spring complex is a series of bathing pools, landscaped into a vegetated hill. The water temperature in individual pools ranges from a warm 32 degrees to a hot 43 degrees using water that is pumped from deep aquifers under the ground. The bathing options include pools with and without bubbles, and either open air pools or humid saunas. Swimming is limited to one or two strokes at most, so this spot is more about relaxing and defrosting rather than exercising. Beehive pool and reflexology walk at Peninsula Hot Springs The only real exercise available is the reflexology walk, which has sections of uneven stone of different shapes and sizes that stimulate the pressure points in your feet as you walk over them. The reflexology walk is ankle deep in water.
